Remove the paddle or clip from your IWB or OWB hard holster and measure the hole spacing.
In this case, the outside holes are at 1 1/2". We will use those holes to achieve maximum performance and stability when unit is attached to a "Loop" surface, that being the inside of a bag or our accessory "Loop" patch.
With this style of Kydex holster, the holes line up with the pre-drilled 1 1/2" holes. The holes just need to be drilled out just a bit to accommodate the screws that came with the holster.
Determine the center point of the holster and pistol. In this case it is behind the last hole of holster. We will use that hole to line up the holster on the Holster Plate.
For this compact 9mm pistol, we will be using the pre-drilled holes at the front of the plate.
Determine what drill bit fits in the holster mounting holes. In this case, it was a 13/64th" drill bit. Then drill through the pre-determined holes on the plate
Using a razor knife or small metal file, clean the holes you just drilled out. This step allows the "nut" part of the fastener hardware to fit in the hole more securely.
Using the supplied screw and nut fasteners that came with your Kydex holster, attach the "nut" piece through the holster and into the hole you drilled out on the Holster Plate. Position the "screw" part of the fastener through the back of the Holster plate and snug it up.
Once all looks good, tighten the fasteners snug and fit the pistol in the Kydex Holster. Once you are happy with the fit, tighten up the fasteners and you are done!
You are now ready to attach the complete Holster Plate set-up to your Concealed or Range Bag, or to out accessory "Hook" patch next to your desk, on your night stand, in your vehicle
Note: it is best to attach your Holster Plate with the Pistol out of the set-up. You can achieve maximum adhesin between the "Hook" and "Loop" system by placing your palm against the Holster Plate and against the Kydex holster.
When removing Holster Plate, pry the plate away from the "Hook" patch or surface, starting from the butt end of the plate.
DO NOT pull off Holster Plate using the Kydex holster!!! This could break or cause damage to the holster.
